Greenburgh Insider: Town of Greenburgh: Another sewer leak on E Hartsdale Ave near 120- expect traffic delays.

 

2nd leak in recent weeks.

There is a leaking sewer diversion pipe in the street in front 120 East Hartsdale Avenue that is spraying water and who knows what out into the street and sidewalk.  The water is flowing and puddling on the street in front of the east driveway of 120.  There is a foul smell in the air.  Recently there was a leak in front of 100 E Hartsdale Ave. That leak is being repaired. It’s a major repair job that could take weeks/months.

Expect traffic delays on E Hartsdale Ave near the apartments in the coming weeks. Frank Morabito, the Building Inspector who has expertise in these matters just spoke with me and will be at the scene soon.
