Living history interviews with 150 veterans will be broadcast non stop this weekend.
The Town of Greenburgh Memorial Day Remembrance and parade will be as follows:
Veterans Memorial at Disanti Plaza at the Hartsdale Train Station

Ceremony: 10 AM (E Hartsdale Ave will be closed to traffic during the parade)

The Fairview Fire department will hold their annual Memorial Day Service, taking place on Monday, May 27th at 11:00 AM.
This year's celebration consists of a small ceremony at the Greenburgh Police Department at 11:00 AM, followed by their annual community barbecue at Fairview Fire Headquarters
Each of the villages in the town holds their own Memorial Day ceremonies on Monday. Hastings on Hudson holds their parade on Sunday at 2 PM.
The town will broadcast the 150 living history interviews with veterans of World War II and the Korean conflict non stop from Friday evening to Monday night on channel 75 and 76 on Optimum and on channels 34 and 35 on Verizon FIOS. Each of the 150 interviews is a half hour long. These interviews were conducted over a dozen years ago. Sadly, man of our local heroes who were interviewed have since passed away but their stories are shown every Memorial Day on public access TV. And their bravery never forgotten.
TODAY, May 21 is election day for School Board in school districts throughout Greenburgh. Voters will also have the opportunity to vote on school budgets. Some school districts are having vote so on bond propositions to fund capital projects. The majority of your property taxes goes to the to fund the schools so it is important for you to vote.
