News from the Town of Greenburgh.

THE 2019 SANITATION SCHEDULE IS NOW POSTED ON THE TOWN WEBSITE: www.greenburghny.com
Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy new year. Our first big change for the year takes place immediately –with a new sanitation schedule. During non holiday weeks paper and commingles will be picked up weekly instead of every other week. And you will continue to get twice a week garbage pick up.
A calendar should have arrived at your home. However, if it did not get to your house the sanitation schedule is posted on the town website: www.greenburghny.com.
In recent years more and people are purchasing on line – lots more boxes have to be picked up. This is one of the reasons for the change. Also- if more paper and plastics are recycled the town pays the county less money so taxpayers will save.
The phone of the public works department is 989 1580.
We are sending different calendars to different streets since calendars may differ –depending on where you live.
