Earlier this week a hearing was held at Town Hall to “Hear Objections” on the sufficiency of petition for Edgemont incorporation. The written objections can be found at the below address. Under NY State law I have 10 days from the date of the hearing to rule on whether the petition complied with NYS law.
I received a call from someone who wanted to watch a video of the hearing which was streamed live. Our cable TV access coordinator contacted the company we use and the video should be posted on the town website within the next hour or so (we post meetings like this under the category: Greenburgh Public Access TV watch live Board meetings in the specialty category).
The petition itself is still at this address:
PLEASE CONSERVE OR MINIMIZE POWER DURING THE ANTICIPATED HEAT WAVE THAT IS EXPECTED IN THE COMING DAYS…
conserve or minimze usage and to turn off the AC when they are outside.
People can take advantage of Con Ed programs to use smart thermostats too.
