free scholarships for veterans who are interested in obtaining a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics Education and becoming a teacher.

Dr. William Farber is an  Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at Mercy College, and a United States Navy Veteran (1968 – 1974).  He also lives in Greenburgh and is passionate about the community, veterans and math.

Mercy College is  again offering a wonderful scholarship opportunity to military veterans and reservists, to earn a tuition-free Master of Science Degree in Mathematics Education and become a secondary mathematics teacher in our high need schools. Great news, the National Science Foundation recently approved their request to recruit a new cohort of veterans for the program

Mercy College, which is located in Dobbs Ferry, New York, is offering a fantastic scholarship opportunity for veterans who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching mathematics at the public school secondary level. The following information describes the scholarship program.

Last week I interviewed Dr. Farber on my WVOX radio show about the scholarship program. If you’re interested – e mail Dr. Farber at wfarber@mercy.edu or call him at 914-674-7675.
