Greenburgh Insider: Victims of fire last Sunday need housing -hopefully in Greenburgh.

Your leads and help would be appreciated.

🔥🏠 Family of five working adults--victims of fire last week-  between ages of 25 and 65 urgently seeking  3 bedroom housing in Greenburgh.

This family lost absolutely everything in the devastating fire in Sleepy Hollow last Sunday.  The family is made up of a mother, three sisters and a brother.

They are still in a hotel, staying day to day and so far  have been provided no emergency assistance by DSS according to community liaison Anne Richards. She is hopeful that will change this coming week and has been in touch with DSS seeking help for the family.

They rely on public transportation in order to get to work, so they need to be centrally located in the county. Ideal locations would be  Greenburgh villages/unincorporated.

Their budget is around $2000.

If you can possibly assist or have leads, please contact Paul Feiner at pfeiner@greenburghny.com or Anne Richards 914-266-0118.
