BAKED BY NANDINI: Nandini Singh is an entrepreneurial Edgemont High School junior who already has her vendor license and hopes to set up a brick and mortar shop someday. She attended Greenburgh’s Zuckerberg Institute summer program last year, pairing students with local businesses in need of a marketing boost. Nandini worked with Gemstarr’s Tasty Seasonings on social media. “I was already baking, but the business skills I learned helped me.” Nandini had started selling to her neighbors in 2019 with new orders always coming in. You may also remember her delicacies from last year’s trial market. Her menu for Thursday’s market promises to satisfy every sweet tooth craving: madeleines, black bottom cupcakes, lemon poppy seed pound cake, snickerdoodles, brownie cookies, and blondies.
