Greenburgh Insider: Update: Ardsley Rd bridge --and welcome Soccer Post (Central Ave).

We welcome our new businesses--update: Ardsley Rd bridge construction.

UPDATE -ARDSLEY ROAD BRIDGE.

In relation to the Ardsley Road bridge over the SBP, the initial completion date was the end of November 2022, but there were numerous delays that were beyond the control of all parties. There were delays due to plans needing revision early on in the project as well a significant amount of steel repair which became necessary during Stage 1. In addition, we had to work with ConEd to replace one of their gas mains which spans the structure. Supplies for much of this work were also delayed due to the delivery issues that we are all seeing.

At this point, we expect to form and pour the upper portions of the backwalls and both abutments next week and expect all of Stage 1 to be completed around Spring 2023 and substantial completion of the entire structure around Fall 2023.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and have a great weekend.

WELCOME NEW BUSINESS ON CENTRAL AVE--SOCCER POST-------

I would like to introduce you to a new business about to open in Greenburgh and the two gentleman that are behind it.

Mark Brinkley and his son Andrew have leased retail space in Archway Plaza at 365 Central Park Avenue (2 doors down from California Pizza Kitchen).

They are opening their second “Soccer Post” store here and are entirely new to Westchester. They provide any necessary gear for Soccer and also handle uniforms for almost any sport.

have told them about your helpful and welcoming attitude towards new business.

Hope you can provide them some support in getting started. They may be also looking to hire local employees.
