There was a glitch with the online registration system for angels....and repaving schedule for necessary Saw Mill River Road repaving during next 3 weeks.
Zach Weinhouse, our student chair of the Angels program advises that he checked the form handling requests of people in Greenburgh, and realized there was a glitch in the system. We have 13 people requesting help, but no way of contacting them, as the form did not automatically collect their emails. He requests that we send out a message asking people to redo the request form.

PAVING SCHEDULE SAW MILL RIVER ROAD (ELMSFORD FROM BABBITT COURT PAST WAREHOUSE LANE) --will take 3 weeks
WE ARE ALL VERY PLEASED that the NYS Department of Transportation will be paving Saw Mill River Road in Elmsford/Greenburgh this week. Thanks again to Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins for finding the 4 million in the NYS budget to make this happen and to Jennifer Glen who organized an online petition that collected more than 1,400 petition signatures. Her efforts proved that government listens to the people.
NYS is still on track to begin milling and paving on 10/3 at 9pm for the subject project, weather permitting. Our construction schedule is as follows:
Week of 10/3 to 10/7-
We will begin on the north end of the project and mill and pave the center turn lanes down to Route 119.
Then we will jump down to the southern project limit and mill and pave both lanes up to Route 119.
Week of 10/10 to 10/14 – We will need assistance with limiting parking this week
We will start paving north from 119 to the end of the project.
Turnaround and Begin to pave south toward 119
Week of 10/17 to 10/21 We will need assistance with limiting parking this week
Complete the paving of the southbound lanes down to Route 119
Final striping
Please note that the state anticipate the need to close the I 287 exit ramp for a few hours one night, we will coordinate that with the Thruway.
