The week of November 7th has two Town holidays, Election Day and Veterans Day. In an effort to alleviate the accumulation of garbage and paper recycling, the Bureau of Sanitation is modifying our calendar.

The week of November 7th has two Town holidays, Election Day and Veterans Day. In an effort to alleviate the accumulation of garbage and paper recycling, the Bureau of Sanitation is modifying our calendar. Sanitation crews will work a full day on election day. This will greatly reduce the amount of refuse that would otherwise have to be collected the following week, and it would provide continued sanitation services to the community that would otherwise be disrupted.  The revised calendar can be found below. There will not be commingled pickup next week because of the two federal holidays.
