Very pleased -empty stores being replaced with exciting new businesses.
The Town of Greenburgh is home to hundreds of businesses spread across multiple mixed-use corridors and other business areas in the Town. While the pandemic significantly and negatively impacted many of these businesses, a vast majority of longstanding businesses in the Town remain. Recently, there has been a major uptick in new openings. Recently,, each Town Board member attended a ribbon-cutting event at the new BJs in the Crossroads Shopping Center. This reuse of the former K-Mart space is anticipated to be highly successful, and will also draw customers to the numerous other exciting businesses at Crossroads. Early next year, ShopRite is set to open on Saw Mill River Road representing an important reuse of a former movie theater site. Although the pandemic and online sales have hurt retail, Greenburgh remains a viable option for this sector. Below is a list of some of recent and planned openings in the Town. Several exciting announcements are forthcoming in addition to below. We want to help our new businesses have great successes. Please shop locally!
