This is a video of a bear roaming around Ardsley Road - looking for food and a place to hide. Bears have been seen around town in recent weeks so be careful. This video was taken by a civic association leader. The NYS DEC oversees wildlife in NYS and won't relocate bears that visit our area. It's becoming more common and they believe that the bears are not dangerous. Earlier this year bears were seen at Clarewood Condo, E Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Yonkers.
My emails are saved and can become public knowledge as I am politely requesting some real action now.
