Westchester County has suspended the sales tax on home heating.

 

Residents who have questions on this topic should be directed to the New York State Tax Department’s information center at 1-518-485-2889; 

 

To help them navigate the touch tone dialer, residents should dial (2) and then (4) – and then they’ll be connected with a live operator. I just did this myself and confirmed that it worked.
