Greenburgh Insider: Governor proposes that NYS have ability to overrule local zoning.

Governor Kathy Hochul has proposed to the members of the NYS Assembly and NYS Senate that NYS be able to overrule local zoning if a local government does not comply with housing construction goals. The following letter was signed by local Mayors and Town Supervisors. The Governor's  proposed action will be considered by the State Legislature as part of their budget deliberations.
