Greenburgh Insider: You have one extra day to pay town/county taxes--till May 1.

 

Extra day because April 30th falls on a Sunday.

You have an extra day to pay your county/town/fire district taxes.

Usually, county, town and fire district taxes are due on April 30th. But, this year April 30th falls on a Sunday so you have till Monday night. The Receiver of Taxes office, according to Receiver Venita Howard, will be open till 7 PM. The office is located at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave, White Plains. You can also pay on line.
