Greenburgh Insider: Traffic delays expected Ardsley Road/Warnke for a few weeks.

Ardsley Road will be repaved in the fall.

The Town Consolidated Water District will be performing necessary water main replacement work on Ardsley Road at the intersection of Warnke Lane. This work is necessary to ensure that the Town Consolidated Water District continue delivery of high-quality water. This work is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 7am until 5pm. Traffic delays in both directions should be expected. The total project is anticipated to take a few weeks of time to complete.  We had started the work in the winter but decided that this phase should take place in the summer when school is out and traffic is less. If you time your drive to the train station so you'll get to the station just in time, leave a few extra minutes so you won't miss the train.
Upon completion, the Town will then return in the Fall of 2023 to resurface Ardsley Road from the Sprain Brook Parkway overpass to Fort Hill Road. A much needed repaving job.
We ask for your patience and understanding during this time.  As always, please slow down and use caution when traveling through the construction areas.
If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact: Town of Greenburgh Bureau of Engineering at (914) 989-1583 or email Engineering@GreenburghNY.com
