TODAY (Saturday)—farmers market on Manhattan Ave (and Elm) and on E Hartsdale Ave. At today’s farmers market there will be a free back to school block party style backpack giveaway from 11:30 to 2:30 PM
TOMORROW (SUNDAY) diaper dash at AF Veteran park—a race for children under two (crawlers and walkers) beginning at 10 AM at the Gerard Byrne Center (near pool)
SUNDAY, September 8th Dog swim at the town pool from 10 AM to 2 PM
REPAIR CAFÉ- 11 AM to 3 PM Theodore Young Community Center October 26 –free repairs
Thursday, September 19: Veterans recognition barbeque 4:30 to 7:30 PM at AF Veteran park for veterans
THIS WEEKEND- Kiwanis Carnival at Richard Presser Park on Central Ave--lots of great rides for children of all ages
SUNDAYS: Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway in September and early October.
