Greenburgh Insider: Town of Greenburgh: Greenburgh family, left homeless due to Hurricane Ida, needs affordable rental until Dec 31.

A family lost their possessions and home during Hurricane Ida. The home has been rebuilt. They need a two month affordable rental --anywhere in the area till they can move back home

Hurricane Ida caused a Greenburgh family to become homeless in 2021. I connected the family with the Fuller Center. Volunteers have been helping the family reduce the costs of construction and have assisted in rebuilding their home which will be finished by the end of the year.  The family needs temporary housing anywhere in the county for 2-3 months. The couple needs help in finding temporary housing at reduced rents. If you know of anyone who would like to help a family that lost their home and possessions in a hurricane please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com and I will put you in contact with the family.  Thank you for your help!

Our community has helped others in the past with hard luck stories and I hope the community will be supportive of this deserving family.

PAUL FEINER

Hi Paul,

My family and I lost our home and belongings during Hurricane Ida in September 2021 and have been homeless ever since. We're seeking temporary housing in Westchester for 2-3 months while our new home is being built. Our home should be finished by 12/31/2024.

We need a 2-bedroom space. We're willing to make payments and do chores in exchange for reduced rent. We're looking for a compassionate individual or family who can provide a stable environment.

If you know anyone in Westchester with a 2-bedroom space available, please let us know. We're desperate for a place to call home temporarily. We need to leave our current space by October 31st. We have 3 small children and we really to stay in Westchester.

Thank you for considering our plea.
