Veterans day is tomorrow. The Veterans Advisory Committee for the town will be sponsoring our annual Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th at 2 PM at DeSanti Plaza in Hartsdale -across from the Hartsdale train station.
We are airing 150 interviews conducted over a dozen years ago with veterans of World War II and the Korean conflict on public access TV –channels 76 (optimum) or 35 (Verizon). Since each of the interviews is about a half hour long it takes many hours to air all the interviews So- the interviews will be running non stop on public access TV until Tuesday morning.
Another option is to click onto the public access on demand website—link below and to watch as many of the living history interviews as you’d like. They are fascinating stories with local heroes.
