TRAFFIC SAFETY BACKUP FOR 5-10 DAYS ON ARDSLEY RD (CROSSWALK SAFETY construction) free kids cricket clinic on August 25th.

CROSSWALK SAFETY INITIATIVE WILL CAUSE TRAFFIC BACKUP’S ON ARDSLEY ROAD/EDGEMONT ROAD FOR NEXT 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS
FREE KIDS CRICKET CLINIC
There was some traffic backups due to the Edgemont Road/Ardsley Road crosswalk safety initiative today. There could be traffic delays during the next 5-10 days (business days) between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM so you might want to avoid Ardsley Road. Flagmen have been assisting. And, starting tomorrow there will be a police officer trying to coordinate traffic. Sorry for the inconvenience.  But the crosswalk safety initiative is necessary and will make pedestrian crossing safer.
Greenburgh’s initiative to promote clinic has received an enormous positive response from cricket lover’s. We’re the first community in Westchester to promote cricket as a sport. The cricket committee is encouraging kids to learn the sport with a free kids cricket clinic on August 25th at 9 AM. At. Richard Presser Park (formerly Webb Field), Central Ave in Hartsdale.

The following article appeared in the examiner news about our new cricket field. I have written to other communities in Westchester and to the county asking that they also create cricket fields in their communities.
