Greenburgh Insider: Greenburgh EDO Economic Development & Opportunity Website Announcement (GreenburghEDO.com).

The Town is pleased to share a new Economic Development-based interactive Website.

The Town is pleased to share a new Economic Development-based interactive Website.

Last year the Town Board, following a recommendation from the Planning Board, and coordination with a committee of residents and business owners and realtors in the Town, hired an independent Economic Development Consultant, Grella Partnership Strategies.

The website was created by the Consultant and highlights employment opportunities, available commercial/office vacancies, and Local, County and State economic development resources. With the site, local employers/businesses have the ability to log in and post employment opportunities and commercial property owners have the ability to log in and post vacancies. Town residents can submit feedback on various aspects of the site and can submit economic development ideas to Town staff. In addition, existing and new businesses can register with the Town through the site.

There have been many recent positive trends connected to the hopefully continued decline of the pandemic, such as new business openingssigned leases and increases in employee hiring. The goal of this site is to maximize connections and opportunities for all of our residents and businesses. The site link follows: https://greenburghedo.com/

  • For residents seeking employment: click the “search available jobs” tab. This page will be expanded as businesses in the Town become aware of the site and begin inputting additional opportunities.

  • For existing businesses in the Town seeking employees: utilize the “Have a job to post button.” This section will allow you to specify as little or as much information as needed to bring awareness to any positions you seek to fill.

  • For existing businesses in the Town: we encourage you to register your business. Future updates to this site will likely include categorized listings of those registered, bringing better awareness to the great businesses in the Town.

  • For commercial/office building property owners, managers, and realtors: click the “Have a property to list button.” This will allow you to input vacant property information, and include relevant sq. ft. available, types of space, Zoning District and other information.

The Town welcomes your feedback. For questions about the site, please email Town staff at planning@greenburghny.com
