Greenburgh Insider: Masks will be optional at Town Board meeting this Wednesday.

Visitors and employees at Town Hall also have the option to wear or not wear masks.

We ask that you be respectful of those who choose to wear masks.

For the first time in many months Greenburgh residents who attend the next Town Board meeting (this coming Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30 PM) will not have to wear masks. The mask policy is now optional for visitors and employees who need to be  at Town Hall or any other town owned municipal building.

We are asking residents and visitors  to be respectful of those who feel more comfortable wearing masks. We will set up a special section at the Town Board meeting room for those who prefer to sit with people who are wearing masks.  They will be more than six feet away from those who are mask-less.

If the pandemic levels increase in the future the Town Board reserves the right to reinstate a mask only policy.
