The  Greenburgh Town Board held a public hearing on Wednesday, March 9th to receive public comment on the Final Environmental Impact Statement or FEIS, which was prepared as part of the continued environmental review process associated with the proposed redevelopment of the former Elmwood Country Club on Dobbs Ferry Road. The hearing was closed with the written record help open until April 8th. Anyone wishing to submit written comments can do so by emailing them to planning@greenburghny.com  Options include single family homes or town houses.

The FEIS is posted on the Town website at: https://greenburghny.com/603/_-Active-Applications---Town-Board and is available as a hard copy at Town Hall (Department of Community Development and Conservation) and the Greenburgh Public Library. A few extra hard copies exist - if you would like one please email planning@greenburghny.com for availability. A link to the public hearing from 3/9 follows: https://greenburghny.new.swagit.com/videos/156414

Following the conclusion of the FEIS comment period (April 8th) the Town Board, as Lead Agency will prepare a series of environmental findings, which will lead to one of the development alternatives (described in detail the FEIS and summarized at the public hearing) becoming the preferred alternative representative of the layout and scale of development at the site. This environmental Findings Statement will include the Town Board’s rationale for its decision and conclude the environmental review process.

Many residents spoke at our Public Hearing on Wednesday. To listen to what residents said - please watch the link below. We also posted written comments from residents on the town website.  Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
