GREENBURGH FORMULA SUPPORT GROUP TO BE FORMED-- WE WANT TO HELP RESIDENTS GET FORMULAS THEY NEED 

LET'S MAKE THIS LESS STRESSFUL   ---

looking for volunteers ----looking for residents who need help.

Many young families in the town are worried and stressed because of the nationwide formula shortage. 

They worry about the safety of their babies and also about their children's dietary needs.  Stores are out of stock or have limited supplies of many types of formula.

On the Ardsley uncensored facebook post Merav Gur discussed creating a support group of parents who can help each other. This is a wonderful idea that could be expanded to the rest of the town. If you would like to be part of a support group --share information with other parents please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghnly.com.  These are ideas posted on the Ardsley Uncensored facebook page. In addition, we could organize zoom meetings, invite medical professionals to speak.  We can make this experience less stressful for all. Volunteers could help get the formulas for parents and our network could share valuable info.

Please search your house for unused/not needed formula. Many get samples and then don't use them. Samples can help!

There are many healthcare professionals in this community. If your hospital/clinic/practice have samples, nearly expired samples please see if you can collect those.

Ardsley has a large international community. If you have family visiting from countries with rigorous/safe formula production, ask them to bring several cans.

 According to today's news, it will take manufacturers a few weeks to catch up with low production. This cannot go one. Met at CVS a new mother who was in tears as she is running low on the formula her baby needs.

We need a list of formulas that parents are having a hard time getting and also need volunteers who can drive a distance away if necessary to help.  

PLEASE COLLECT LIST OF FORMULAS THAT YOU ARE HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING. WILL REACH OUT TO OTHERS AND WILL TRY TO FIND THEM FOR YOU.  SEND PHOTO OF FORMULA YOU NEED  TO ME AT PFEINER@GREENBURGHNY.COM AND OUR VOLUNTEERS WILL TRY TO HELP
