In observance of National Suicide Prevention and National Recovery Month, on Wednesday, 9/28 at 6:30 PM, the Greenburgh Library is pleased to host "Community Mental Health Resources - How to Connect and What to Expect" .
Join us to learn about positive developments in Westchester to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health and related support in our Greenburgh and greater Westchester community.
The program is a collaboration with the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health (DCMH), MHA Westchester, and the Greenburgh Police Department, among others to share how to CONNECT and what to expect from the folks at:
- MHA Westchester's "Driving Towards Resilience" Mobile Mental Health units at Greenburgh Public Library and other Westchester/Rockland locations
- Westchester County Crisis Prevention and Response Team
- County-wide "Project Alliance" resources
- Greenburgh Police Department and its Mobile Crisis Response Team
- National 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
- 911 emergency line
