There is a new restaurant in town that is getting great reviews from constituents who have encouraged me to highlight  Urban Central Restaurant & Bar which is located at the four corners in Hartsdale -10 N Central Ave- Hartsdale, NY 10530 (near East Hartsdale Ave/Central Ave.  914-829-5774   www.urbancentralhartsdale.com

 

Urban Central Restaurant & Bar, located at 10 N Central Ave. in Hartsdale, opened its doors to the public on June 24, 2024. It is an elevated American restaurant with dishes to suit all palates, preferences, and diets. Their menu features everything from a long list of appetizers & salads, to sandwiches, entrees, and dry aged steaks & chops. A “fun & whimsical” Kid’s Menu is also available for kids 12 & under. Priding itself on an incredible variety of options. the restaurant also puts an emphasis on the importance of offering many gluten-free dishes as they understand just how important and necessary it is to meet the demand for that dietary requirement.

 

The restaurant also features a spacious 12 seat full bar featuring specialty cocktails, 10 wines by the glass, 6 draught beer lines, and much more. Happy Hour is offered from 3-6PM every Monday-Friday where food is discounted by 20% and drink prices are discounted as well. Two large screen TV’s in our bar area showing all the biggest sporting events also makes Urban Central an awesome spot to watch any big game you’re looking for.

 

Urban Central is the creation of owners Brian Angarola & Pedro Luis Sosa. Both Brian & Pedro are veterans of the restaurant industry and have successfully opened and operated many other popular Westchester restaurants over the last 2 decades. Their most recent restaurant that they opened, and continue to operate since its inception, is The Urban Hamlet in Bronxville, NY. Their expertise, love for their craft, attention to detail, and dedication to making all their guests feel at home, is what sets them apart from many others in the industry. Urban Central is the proud result of not only their extensive restaurant experience but more importantly, their long-lasting personal friendship that’s grown from their time working side by side. They describe it best when Brian says “we put everything we have into our businesses and when you put the two of us together, there is no telling what we’re capable of creating as a team.”

 

Urban Central is open 7 Days a Week for Lunch & Dinner, beginning at 12:00PM. They offer take-out and are also available on UberEATS, Doordash, & Grubhub. Reservations are accepted and can be made online through OpenTable or directly through their website at www.urbancentralhartsdale.com. Ample street parking is available as well as numerous municipal lots located within a short walk of their entrance.
