New first-time service will save residents time and money.
(Westchester) – Greenburgh Town Clerk Lisa Maria Nero is pleased to announce today the start of new notary services available to residents and businesses within the community. This initiative aims to provide convenient access to essential notarial services, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for local transactions.
Greenburgh residents can now come to the Clerk’s office in Town Hall located at 177 Hillside Ave, White Plains, NY 10607, with proper identification (NY State Issued), the documents they need notarized and have that service provided for free without making an appointment. Please call the office to ensure she is available. Those documents include affidavits, acknowledgments, and giving oaths. This service is particularly beneficial for individuals requiring notarized documentation, business agreements, or personal matters that does not involve the Town Clerk’s office or the Town of Greenburgh. (This service also excludes: Notarizing claims against the Town of Greenburgh, items involving real estate transactions, or certification of other legal instruments).
This new program which was part of Madam Clerk’s campaign platform will be a huge asset for the residents of the Town of Greenburgh and shows her commitment to her constituents. Town Clerk Nero states: “Making government work for the people is a critical pillar of my office. I am proud to announce this service for the residents of the Town of Greenburgh, providing free notary service will save residents time, effort, and money.”
Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said: “I want to thank our Town Clerk Lisa Maria Nero for providing this important service for our Greenburgh residents. This will be especially helpful for the seniors in Greenburgh.”
Notary services will be available during regular Town Hall operating hours of 9:00 am – 5:00pm, or by appointment in the evening, on the same days as Town Board Work Sessions and Town Board Meetings ensuring flexibility for residents to access these vital services at their convenience. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins will also be accommodated based on availability of the Clerk.
